Born from a Lifelong Love of the Ocean
Chad Hanjora has been drawn to the water for as long as he can remember. What started as a childhood fascination became a way of life when he earned his first certification in 2013 — and within two years, he knew he wanted to do more than just dive. He wanted to teach.
By 2015, Chad was a PADI Instructor. He spent a year and a half teaching in the warm waters of Hawaii before heading to Key Largo — the Dive Capital of the World — where he honed his craft at one of the Keys' premier dive operations. Now based in Orlando, Florida, Chad leads trips to the best dive sites across South Florida and the Keys. As a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, he brings PADI professional-level training and instruction to every dive. He doesn't just take people underwater — he trains the instructors who train divers.
Chad is meticulous about safety — every briefing, every gear check, every dive plan is deliberate. He personally reviews conditions, currents, and site logistics before each trip. And he tailors every dive to the group: matching sites to skill levels, adjusting plans in real time, and making sure experienced divers get the depth, challenge, and marine encounters they came for.
But ask Chad what he's most proud of, and it's not the credentials. It's the moment a diver surfaces and says, “That was the best dive I've ever had.” It's watching his own kids fall in love with the reef. It's why his friends know him as The Scuba Dad.

The Eye Behind the Lens
Jessica Hanjora wasn't looking for a dive instructor when she booked that trip — but the ocean has a way of bringing people together. She and Chad met on one of his dive excursions, and what started underwater never really surfaced. She became the love of his life, his dive partner, and eventually the other half of BluWave Divers.
Jessica is a gifted photographer with an instinct for capturing the moments most people forget to look for — the way light filters through a kelp canopy, a diver's silhouette framed against open blue, the split-second a sea turtle glides past. Her underwater images don't just document a dive; they make you feel like you're back in the water.
But her talents go far beyond the camera. Jessica is the reason every BluWave trip feels effortless. She obsesses over the details most operators overlook — boat logistics, surface intervals, post-dive dining, even the little touches that turn a good trip into one you talk about for years. She personally coordinates each itinerary, stays in constant communication with every guest, and makes sure nothing is left to chance.
