- Do I need my own gear for this trip?
- No. All essential dive gear — BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, weights, and tanks — is included with every trip. If you prefer to dive with your own equipment, you're welcome to bring it. Our gear shop carries hand-picked equipment from Atomic, BARE, and Oceanic if you want to invest in your own.
- What certifications do I need?
- Requirements vary by trip. Most trips require at least an Open Water Diver certification. Some advanced trips (deep dives, drift dives, or shark dives) may require Advanced Open Water or equivalent. Check the Requirements section above for this specific trip. If you're not yet certified, check out our PADI certification courses.
- What happens if weather cancels the trip?
- Safety is our top priority. If conditions are unsafe, we'll reschedule you to the next available date at no extra charge. We monitor weather and sea conditions closely and will notify you as early as possible if a trip needs to be rescheduled.
- How many divers are on each trip?
- We keep group sizes small to ensure a quality experience and personalized attention from your dive guide. Exact capacity varies by trip and boat — check the trip details above for the maximum group size.
- Can beginners join this trip?
- It depends on the trip's difficulty level. Beginner-friendly trips are clearly marked and welcome newly certified divers. For intermediate or advanced trips, you'll need the appropriate certification and experience level. Not sure? Ask Orca — our AI concierge can help match you with the right trip.
